Elevate your sleep sanctuary with the Classic Foundation from HauteCoton - thoughtfully designed to provide steadfast support and help your mattress last longer. Handcrafted in Quebec using premium solid wood, each foundation is wrapped in the same soft, organic cotton jersey as our mattresses and layered with pure organic wool for gentle cushioning and breathability.

Key Features:

• Subtly recessed legs for safer nighttime navigation—no more stubbed toes or bumped knees.
• 2-inch-wide solid wood slats deliver full, even mattress support while promoting exceptional airflow to keep things cool and fresh.
• Nail construction (no glues or adhesives) for a cleaner, healthier sleep environment free from off-gassing concerns.
• Legs optional—purchase without for a low-profile or platform-style setup.
• King size ships in two pieces — two Twin XL sections (each 39" × 80") for easier transport, stair navigation, and setup.

Ideal For:

• Pairing seamlessly with any HauteCoton mattress
• Supporting all mattress types
• Enhancing breathability and airflow for cooler, more comfortable sleep

Crafted with the same commitment to organic materials and mindful design as our Deluxe Foundation, the Classic offers essential support at an accessible level—timeless reliability without compromise.

Note: Your Organic Mattress needs to breathe. Our foundations are structured to support breathability. Legs are strongly recommended unless you are placing the foundation into an existing bed frame.
