Therapeutic benefits:

Lavender (Lavendula officinalis) is an effective herb for easing headaches, especially when they are related to stress. It has traditionally been used in the treatment of depression, insomnia and anxiety. Lavender is a gentle strengthening tonic of the nervous system.

Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) is traditionally used for its mild sedative and soothing properties, anxiety, stress management and for insomnia - making it perfect for our REM blend. Passionflower is used in clinical practice to support regular sleep patterns, nervous tension and restlessness and headaches.

Valerian (Valerian officials) promotes deep, restful slumber. Valerian has been used as an herbal remedy to fight insomnia for hundreds of years. It has been shown to reduce anxiety and elicit a calming effect that can be used to combat restlessness. If you are in need of some quality sleep, valerian might be just what you need.

Skullcap( Scutellaria lateriflora)

Considered a “food” for the nervous system, Skullcap is a key restorative and nerve tonic. It's often proven to help with conditions where nervous debility is a factor, whether as a result of long-term stress, insomnia, or chronic pain. Skullcap is often a standard natural remedy for anxiety, nervous exhaustion, disturbed sleep, lowered mood, and tension headaches. The herb’s antispasmodic action makes it useful in relieving the taut and tensed muscled that so often accompany anxiety and worry.
