If you’ve ever had a row of loops slip off the pegs while binding off, you know the sinking feeling that follows. We’ve felt it too. After trying binder clips, paper clips, and pulling loops to the corners, nothing quite worked the way we hoped.
That’s why we engineered the Friendly Loom® Tensioning Tool. Designed for weavers, by weavers, it keeps gentle, steady tension on your potholder as you bind off the edges. The result? A smoother bind-off, secure loops, and a clean finish.
Why You’ll Love It
• Keeps loops steady while binding off
• Helps prevent slipping and unraveling
• Makes finishing easier and less stressful
• Small, simple, and easy to use for all ages
How It Works
Once you begin binding off, place the first Tensioning Tool along the finished edge of your potholder to help keep tension on the remaining loops. As you continue around the loom, add the second tool to the next finished edge. Together, they help keep your loops secure and your potholder evenly tensioned while you finish.
