Take the tail end yourself for a proper game of tug, throw it for a fetch, or let your dog parade it round the garden as if they caught it themselves. There is plenty of room for your hands at one end and teeth at the other.

Springy body. The elasticated body wriggles and flops as your dog shakes it, which makes every grab feel like a catch.

Layered fabric. Soft printed plush on top and ribbed corduroy on the belly sit over a layered backing that is sturdier than standard single layer plush.

Light to carry. Small dogs can carry it and big dogs can fling it, and it works for solo shake and squeak play, tug or fetch and retrieve training.

Two colours. Choose green or purple, both with a snakeskin print, a red forked tongue and a cream corduroy belly.

Play safely. This snake dog toy is for supervised play, not a chew toy, and it is not suited to dogs who shred soft toys. Replace it if it tears or a squeaker or the filling shows.
