Overview

Earl's MulTfill is a ready-to-use, paintable multi-purpose putty for filling interior and exterior surfaces including wood, rotted timber, masonry, plasterboard, cement sheet, concrete and metal. The 600g tub suits larger repairs and ongoing use around the workshop or job site. White suits painted surfaces, and a range of colours is available to suit popular decking tones. It is 100% Australian made and owned.

Key Features

  • Heavy-bodied filler that won't crack, shrink or fall out, and fills to any depth in 6mm layers.
  • Ready to use straight from the tub, with no acrylic, latex or solvents.
  • No Volatile Organic Compounds and non-flammable.
  • Sands easily with 120 grit paper or finer without clogging.
  • Takes almost all known coatings. Does not absorb stain, but it will coat.
  • Shelf life of up to 5 years if the container is kept tightly sealed.
  • Unused filler can go back in the tub, so there is no waste.

Perfect For

  • Filling nail holes, splits and end grain on timber.
  • Exterior repairs, including decking, where a paintable filler is needed.
  • Patching plasterboard, cement sheet, brick and concrete.
  • Filling rotted timber after treating it with Earl's Wood Hardener.

Why Choose This Product?

MulTfill covers inside and outside jobs with one product. The colour you see wet in the tub is the final colour once coated, so matching is simple, and clean-up is with water.

Care, Use or Compatibility Notes

The base material must be sound, clean and free of dust. Apply firmly with a plastic putty knife, filling deep cracks in layers of 6mm maximum. Wetting the knife helps the filler flow. Earl's MulTfill must be coated. If it hardens in cold weather, add a few drops of warm water, and do not thin with more than 5% water by weight. Always test your coating on the filler first, and wear a dust mask (AS1716) when sanding.
