Overview
The Rider Low Angle Hand Plane Kit brings together three planes that cover most hand planing work in the workshop: the No.60 1/2 Low Angle Block Plane, the No.4 Low Angle Smoothing Plane and the No.62 Low Angle Jack Plane. Between them you can dimension, flatten, smooth, trim and work end grain, and you save compared with buying each plane on its own.
All three are designed and developed by professional woodworkers in the UK. Each has a 12° bed, a 3.2mm thick cryogenically hardened M2 HSS blade ground at 25°, a Norris-style adjuster and an adjustable mouth.
