Overview
The Rider No.69 1/2 Low Angle Block Plane is a compact, one-handed bevel-up plane built for fine trimming and end grain work. It combines the low-angle performance of the No.60 1/2 with the wider cutting width of a No.9 1/2 block plane. It may look compact, but the substantial 3.2mm thick blade reduces chatter and gives the stability needed for that final finish.
Designed and developed by professional woodworkers in the UK, it is simple to set up, easy to adjust and satisfying to use.

Why Choose the Rider No.69 1/2?
A standard block plane can run out of width on wider joints. The No.69 1/2 keeps the compact, one-handed feel and low angle of a No.60 1/2 but gives you a 41mm blade, so you cover more surface in each pass.
