THE MUSASHI GI — A HALF SUMO TRIBUTE TO THE GREATEST SAMURAI

Unbleached. Unyielding. A Half Sumo kimono inspired by Miyamoto Musashi’s unmatched legacy.

The jacket is crafted from a sturdy yet comfortable 380gsm unbleached Pearl Weave, paired with 10oz brushed cotton pants designed for everyday training.

Inside the gi, the collar features a sublimated Halfsumo artwork rendered in our unmistakable Half Sumo Irezumi style. A large, soft screen print embellishes the inner jacket—designed to gently fade over time, giving the kimono a rich, vintage character as it ages.

The exterior is finished with high-definition patches, embroideries, and prints that add depth and authenticity to the garment. On the inside, you’ll also discover a unique haiku poem, an added touch that celebrates the spirit of martial arts.

We have also included a unique high quality Gi bag, with a comfortable zipper pocket that can hold your phone, wallet andother items. This bag is fully machine washable so you can just throw it in the wash along with the GI.

PLEASE NOTE: As an unbleached GI, this kimono will fit out of the box a bit larger than regular kimonos, but will shrink approx 8%  to 12% after a few washes.
