Red Tiger Lotus is a popular tropical lily known for its striking red leaves and bold appearance. Under the right conditions, this plant can become a beautiful centerpiece in a planted aquarium and may even produce fragrant flowers.
Red Tiger Lotus is surprisingly easy to care for and adapts well to a range of water conditions. It can produce long-stalked leaves that reach the surface, especially with strong growth and fertilization. These floating leaves may block light from plants below, so regular trimming can help keep the plant compact and maintain light throughout the aquarium.
Under the right conditions, the floating leaves may also produce beautiful white flowers above the water's surface.
Do not bury the bulb more than 1/4 of the way into the substrate. Burying the bulb too deeply can cause it to decay or rot.
Please do additional research on your plant to ensure its health.
All plants may contain snails or snail eggs. We keep them in all of our tanks for the benefits they provide.
