Red Rubin Sword is a really cool option if you want the easy care of a Sword Plant but with a LOT more color. Its leaves can range from green and bronze to deep red, with bright green veins running through them that make this plant stand out even more.
This is a great beginner-friendly plant that doesn't require CO2 Medium to higher lighting will help bring out those deeper red colors, while plants kept under lower lighting may grow a little greener.
Like other Sword Plants, Red Rubin is a heavy root feeder and will appreciate a nutrient-rich substrate or root tabs. Once established, it can grow into a pretty impressive plant, making it a great choice for the midground or background of your aquarium.
Plant the roots directly into your substrate, but make sure the crown of the plant stays above the substrate. Since Sword Plants are heavy root feeders, adding root tabs around the base can help support healthy growth and coloration.
