How the iO works
The iO uses Trackman's Optically Enhanced Radar Tracking. A 24 GHz radar measures speed and distance, a high speed camera running up to 4,600 frames per second tracks the club and ball, and a separate alignment camera handles target alignment automatically. An embedded infrared light system lights the hitting area, so the unit performs the same regardless of room lighting.
It is Trackman's first launch monitor designed only for indoor use. It runs Trackman Performance Studio on a Windows PC, the same software used by tour players, club fitters, and Trackman ranges worldwide.

Home or Home Complete
Every iO includes the first year of Trackman software. The package you choose decides which club data and how much of the course and game library you unlock. Home can be upgraded to Home Complete later.

Questions we get about the iO
How is the iO different from the Trackman 4?
The Trackman 4 is a portable unit that sits behind the golfer and works indoors or outdoors. The iO is built only for indoor simulators. It mounts on the ceiling, adds high speed cameras and infrared lighting to directly measure spin, and removes the depth requirements behind the ball.
Does the iO work with GSPro or E6 Connect?
No. The iO runs on Trackman Performance Studio only. Trackman's software includes its own virtual courses, games, practice modes, and online play.
Can left and right handed players use the same bay?
Yes. One iO covers both. Plan roughly 15 feet of room width if both will play regularly.
What if my ceiling is lower than 9′4″?
Contact us with your exact measurements. Depending on the room, recessed mounting may be an option, and we can tell you quickly whether the iO or a different launch monitor is the better fit.
Do I need special balls or stickers?
No. The iO needs no markers on the club or ball.
Is there an ongoing subscription?
Yes. The first year of software is included. After that you renew Home or Home Complete annually. Ask us for current pricing.
Do you install it?
Yes. Our team installs Trackman simulators, including mounting, wiring, calibration, and the screen and enclosure around it.
