This is a pack of 8 Iomic Black Armor 2 X-Evolution 2.3 Standard grips in black with a blue cap, enough for a set of irons and wedges. The X-Evolution 2.3 gives you a cord-like feel the full length of the grip, molded instead of woven, so it's tacky, firm and consistent from top to bottom. Same 50 g grip on an M60 core as our single X-Evolution 2.3 page. Grip tape and solvent are not included.

Not the right fit if you...
- Are doing a different number of clubs. There's also a 9-grip set and a 13-pack.
- Want tape, solvent and a clamp in the box. Get the 13-grip kit.
- Only need one or two. Grab the single X-Evolution 2.3.
- Want a softer lower hand. That's the Sticky Evolution 2.3.
How It Plays
Cord-like, top to bottom. The X-Evolution pattern runs the full grip, so your lead and trail hand feel the same thing. It's grabby without the rough edges real cord has when you practice bare-handed.
Tack you can feel. It's not just texture. The surface has a tacky feel too, which helps when your hands start to sweat late in a round.
Where it sits. At 3.0 on torque, it twists a bit more than the Sticky (2.7) or the iX (1.5). If grip twist on mishits is your main complaint, the iX is the one to look at.
Eight clubs, eight strips. Our installation kit has 14, so you'll have extras. The X-Evolution pattern is the same top to bottom, so there's no top or bottom to line up, but square the logo on each club anyway so the set looks matched at address. Clean every shaft before the solvent comes out and work through them in a row.
