As It Is is part of the Nevertheless series, where Amy Kim reflects on acceptance, presence, and allowing things to exist without the need to change or resolve them. The layered forms and soft, rhythmic colours suggest a landscape that grows freely — imperfect, overlapping, and alive in its own way.

This work speaks to moments when resistance softens and we begin to see beauty in what simply is. Set within gentle movement and quiet blooming forms, the painting reminds us that even amid complexity or uncertainty, there is enoughness in staying present. Growth happens not through force, but through allowing — nevertheless.
