The 271 is an all-time great and one of the most popular models ever created. It's profile allows for the bat to be made out of a very dense wood. Denser wood equates to a bat that is harder and more durable. Even though the 271 is not considered a large barreled bat, many of the game’s best power hitters swing the 271.
