Saffron Haze is an abstracted, organic-inspired landscape painting that is softly layered and quietly alive with movement, texture, and patterns. I wanted to create a surface that was rich with tactile variation using washes of blush, saffron, and warm, toasty earth colours, combined with botanical-inspired shapes emerging like undergrowth reaching toward the light. 
This artwork consists of quality cotton canvas that is varnished for protection, and the sides are painted in a very soft creamy colour.
