Shippo · Tokiwa green. Shippo is woven in shippō, the “seven treasures” pattern named for the precious treasures of Buddhist scripture. Its endlessly interlocking circles symbolize harmony and connection, and in the space between them, four-pointed stars appear, echoing the Toka mark hidden in the pattern itself. It is set in tokiwa, the evergreen of pines that stay green through winter and a traditional symbol of constancy.
