The pearl of the Mediterranean, known to sun worshippers and synonymous with an exuberant travel industry, has in recent years found its way through climate crisis and pandemic to a gentle but intense dialogue around the themes of conservation and sustainability.

Photographer Patricia Parinejad not only shows that Mallorca is still intoxicatingly beautiful, but also traces this exciting environmental movement and, with stunning images and lively text, introduces sustainable businesses, eco-hotels, green initiatives and innovators fighting to preserve the island. This idyllic photo book also shows Mallorca connoisseurs a very different and important side of the Balearic island: the new Green Mallorca.
