Union's all-new 2 Layer baseplate construction allows us to have two individual layers: the Core and the Frame. Each layer has the possibility of using a unique material and stiffness to achieve the desired ride feel of the binding.

Asymmetrical Molecular Bushing
More durable and more cushioned than traditional thermoformed EVA, Molecular Bushings act as a suspension system between the baseplate and the board's top sheet to help reduce vibrations from harsh snowpack.
