Aged brass is a living finish. It arrives with a soft darkened patina rather than a bright mirror shine, and it keeps deepening with handling and time. No two pieces age identically — that is rather the point of it.
To hold it as it arrives, wipe with a dry cloth. To let it darken, simply leave it be. Avoid chemical cleaners and abrasives; they strip the patina back to raw brass.
Solid brass throughout — not plated, not hollow. Hand-finished.
Screws are included with the cup pulls and D handles. Knobs come with a fixing bolt. Backplates are sold on their own.
Hinges, pull handles and more knob shapes are in our other aged brass set. All thirteen knob styles are together in aged brass cabinet knobs, all eleven cup pulls in aged brass cup pulls, and the whole range sits in The Windsor Collection.
Shade varies a little between screens, and between individual pieces. That is normal for a hand-finished aged brass.
