The Srixon Z Star golf ball is a premium, three piece, tour level ball designed for skilled players who want exceptional greensde spin, feel and distance.
It is known for its soft feel compared to other balls in the Z-STAR series.
Key Features and Technology
The Z-STAR line incorporates several technologies aimed at enhancing performance from tee to green:
- FastLayer DG Core 2.0: This newly formulated core is soft in the center and gradually becomes firm around the edge. This design provides a great feel while maximizing ball speed for distance.
- Spin Skin+ Coating: A thin layer of specialized urethane coating increases the cover's friction with the clubface, leading to enhanced spin and control on approach shots, chips, and pitches
- Thin, Premium Urethane Cover: The extra-thin, durable urethane cover helps generate tour-caliber greenside spin and control. It's also made with Biomass, a plant-derived material that reduces manufacturing emissions.
- 338 Speed Dimple Pattern: This aerodynamic design reduces drag and increases lift, helping the ball fly straighter and achieve maximum distance, even in windy conditions.
