This mini origami tessellation has been laminated into a hexagon so it's ready to tape to a window or add a ribbon and hang on a Christmas tree right away.

The laminated area measures 5 inches (12.5 cm) from side to opposite side and the mini tessellation was folded from a hexagon of thin white paper that backlights easily.

The Ignition pattern in this suncatcher inspires wonder and exploration of how a hexagon could turn into another hexagon with these symmetric shadows and makes a perfect gift for the math-lover in your life.

The pattern can be viewed from either side and makes a very distinctive window decoration when seen from the outside at night.
