Sungro Black Gold Perlite

Product Description

Give your plants room to breathe. Perlite is a lightweight, naturally occurring volcanic mineral, expanded to create a highly porous structure that boosts drainage and aeration in any growing mix. Its airy texture also makes it a favorite for rooting cuttings.

Key Benefits

• Mix with your favorite potting soil
• An excellent rooting medium for stem, tip, or leaf cuttings that need extra drainage.
• An affordable, effective choice for home hydroponic setups.
• Allows soil to drain quickly while staying aerated, giving roots the support they need to grow.

• Ideal for seeds and cuttings that require low water retention

How to Use

1. A blend with a 1:4 ratio of perlite to potting soil works for most plants. Increase the perlite ratio for varieties that need extra drainage.
2. For seeds that thrive in fast-draining conditions, plant directly in pure perlite following your seed packet's directions.
3. Water, then set under grow lights or on a sunny windowsill. Once seedlings emerge, feed with a water-soluble fertilizer.
