The Destination 1.9 is a small, simple-to-install insert designed around a tapered body that slides into the smallest masonry hearths. If you want to convert an open fireplace into a clean, efficient heat source, this is the one that will physically go in — and it carries the highest efficiency rating in its category.
Its firebox has a hollow bottom that lets ash accumulate, so you are not cleaning it out every few days. The expansive ceramic glass and arched cast iron door with a subdued black wood handle give you a panoramic view of the fire, while the flush-mount blower and the removable air control hidden in the faceplate louver keep the finish clean and modern.

Will it fit?
An insert sits inside your existing fireplace, so measure the masonry opening before ordering — the minimum is listed in the specifications below, and the tapered body is what lets this model into hearths others cannot use. A cuttable faceplate extension is available for larger openings. A stainless liner is required and is not included; check your flue height as well.
