The MFC Gould’s Half Down Salmon Fly is a proven big-water dry fly designed to imitate adult salmonflies riding low in the surface film. Its half-down wing profile creates a realistic silhouette that trout key in on during heavy stonefly hatches. Built with durable foam and premium materials, this pattern floats well while still sitting naturally in the water. A favorite for targeting aggressive trout along grassy banks, log jams, and cutbanks during runoff season throughout Western Montana.
