Some of us do our best work in the background, unobserved, content in the process - no applause, no awards, no Facebook posts.  But this makes our efforts no less spectacular or transcendent.  Some of the most brilliant blooms happen in places where no one is watching and they are the more valuable for it, infused with self-sufficiency and self-confidence.  Like a desert lily.
