Chilkat Sun Magnet

A Chilkat Sun design featuring the work of Nahaan, a Tlingit artist. The sun is presented in a bold, centered composition, with radiating forms that reflect the distinctive geometry and balance associated with Chilkat design.

In many Indigenous traditions, the sun is understood as a guardian of the world, associated with healing energy and dignity. Its steady, radiant form conveys continuity, strength, and life-giving force.

Measuring approximately 3"–4", it functions as both a practical magnet and a small art object—expressive, dynamic, and thoughtfully made. Crafted in wood and made in Canada.
