The PR-10A is a third-generation powered rack enclosure designed for 800 Series modular signal processors. It accommodates up to ten processors and provides XLR connections for audio inputs, outputs and external inputs.
Its updated mechanical design offers improved structural integrity, RFI shielding and electromagnetic shielding. The PR-10A also features a high-performance power supply designed to support a fully populated rack of processors.
Identical modules can be linked for stereo processing via the RCA linking jacks on the rear panel. Linking two processor positions requires a standard RCA patch cable.
This PR-10A rack is also fitted with 6x Kepex II modules:
The Kepex II is a Parametric key-input expander/gate and successor to the Allison Kepex, designed for everything from subtle envelope-controlled attenuation to conventional hard gating. Its fast response, adjustable expansion ratio and choice of linear or logarithmic release slopes allow precise control over envelope shape and depth, with particularly useful results on drums and other percussive material.
