Built for contemporary players while retaining the defining character of the Jazzmaster, the American Professional Jazzmaster combines updated electronics, refined playability and a versatile vibrato system.
Its Deep “C” neck features rolled fingerboard edges, a “Super-Natural” satin finish and a newly sculpted neck heel for a comfortable feel and improved access to the upper frets. The 22 narrow-tall frets and bone nut support precise intonation and easier string bending.
A pair of V-Mod III Jazzmaster single-coil pickups delivers the model's familiar sparkle and chime with enhanced articulation. The bridge pickup includes a tap function, offering a choice between a higher-output, throaty voice and a lower-output vintage-style sound. The rhythm circuit places both pickups in series for a thicker, higher-output tone, with dedicated roller volume and tone controls.
The Panorama Jazzmaster tremolo with pop-in arm provides a broad range of vibrato effects, from traditional Jazzmaster movement to deeper, Strat-style dives. A ClassicGear J-Bridge is fitted for stable tuning, intonation and tone.
