The Akai Rhythm Wolf is a budget analogue drum machine and bass synth launched in 2014. It features five raw drum voices—kick, snare, closed and open hats, plus metallic percussion—alongside a simple monophonic bass synth with a single oscillator and resonant filter. A 32-step sequencer and six MPC-style pads make pattern programming easy, while the built-in “Howl” distortion adds extra grit. MIDI, USB, and Gate I/O allow solid integration with other gear, with separate outputs for the drum and synth sections.
Includes power supply.
