Inspired by the original 1950s Stratotone and the model 1361 associated with Elmore James, the Elmore 54 combines the compact body, substantial neck profile and direct tonal character of the earlier design with updated styling and specifications.
Its solid basswood body is finished in Vintage Cream and fitted with a custom-shaped pickguard. A single repositioned mini-humbucker delivers a raw, focused voice, selected via a rhythm/solo switch and controlled by master volume and tone knobs. The maple set neck features a rosewood fingerboard with dot markers, a 24 3/4" scale length and 20 medium-jumbo frets.
A floating wooden bridge, custom trapeze tailpiece and vintage open-back tuners complete the design.
