Black pure wool hand loomed scarf featuring traditional contrasting pewter coloured Chikankari embroidery and subtle woven stripes. Hand crafted by a womens rural wool industry initiative preserving the traditional looms and supporting female artisans in the hill communities near the Himalayas. We love these shawls to wear on the plane, for chilly nights or as an extra layer to pack in your suitcase as they fold down neatly to be light and compact. Measures 192cmx60cm including self knotted fringe. Please note that these textiles are hand embroidered and as with all artisan pieces, there can be small imperfections especially in the slub. Fair trade.
