FSB 1108 is part of FSB's Standard Mortise Lock (SML) program — German-engineered architectural door hardware known for precise proportions and a tactile, ergonomic grip.
Hartmut Weise designed FSB 1108 after asking what gave the Frankfurt Model its quiet authority. His answer was a round neck running into a mitred grip of oval section — pared back, ergonomic, and honest. Installed at Barkow Leibinger's M1 townhouse in Freiburg Vauban.
Available in passage, privacy, single dummy, and double dummy configurations. Handing is required for single dummy.
Important: European roses are typically smaller than standard North American models, with many measuring approximately 50 mm in diameter. Rose sizes can vary by brand and range, so please review all dimensions carefully. These handles may not fit existing or pre-bored door holes without adjustments.
Solid stainless steel or anodized aluminum, depending on finish.
