FSB 1058 is part of FSB's Standard Mortise Lock (SML) program — German-engineered architectural door hardware known for precise proportions and a tactile, ergonomic grip.
Johannes Potente's own favourite, FSB 1058 reinterprets the earlier FSB 1051 with a flowing silhouette and crisp lines. It is one of four Potente designs held in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, and appears in Zaha Hadid's Opus tower in Dubai.
Available in passage, privacy, single dummy, and double dummy configurations. Handing is required for single dummy.
Important: European roses are typically smaller than standard North American models, with many measuring approximately 50 mm in diameter. Rose sizes can vary by brand and range, so please review all dimensions carefully. These handles may not fit existing or pre-bored door holes without adjustments.
