3' x 5' polyester Nicaragua Flag with two grommets, double-stitched top and bottom edges, and a triple-stitched fly edge to reduce fraying.

āœļø The Design: The national flag of Nicaragua was officially adopted in 1908 and features three equal horizontal stripes of blue, white, and blue, centered with the national coat of arms on the middle white band.

The outer blue stripes represent the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea bordering the country, as well as justice and loyalty. The central white stripe symbolizes peace, purity, and the Nicaraguan territory between the two bodies of water. Inside the coat of arms, an equilateral triangle holds five volcanoes representing the original Central American nations, a rainbow symbolizing peace, and a red Phrygian cap representing liberty.

Days of Celebration: The flag is flown across the country on National Flag Day on July 14 and Independence Day on September 15.
