Engineered for precision and built to last, the Sharpie Extra Fine Oil-Based Paint Marker is the ultimate tool for laying down witness marks after torquing scope rings, action screws, or other critical components.

Checking tightness with a torque tool can cause unintentional over-torquing. Instead, create a Witness Mark by drawing a continuous paint line across the fastener head and the mounting surface immediately after torquing to spec. This provides an instant visual indicator of fastener security. if the line breaks, you know at a glance that the fastener has backed out and needs reinstalled to spec.

Unlike standard ink or bulky medium-point markers, this oil-based paint marker features an ultra-sharp, extra-fine tip that lets you apply a crisp, micro-fine line exactly where the bolt meets the chassis. The high-performance, quick-drying formula binds tightly to metal, anodized coatings, and plastics, ensuring your torque indicators won't smudge during a match, a ride, or a teardown.
