GFRC holds up well against sun, rain, and temperature swings, outperforming traditional pre-cast concrete which is more prone to cracking, fading, and freeze-thaw damage. Even so, using a breathable cover when the unit isn't in use is recommended to help protect the finish long-term.
What kind of cover should I use?
Only a breathable cover material should be used with this fire feature. A plastic or non-breathable cover can trap moisture against the surface and stick to it, so avoid those with GFRC concrete units.
What maintenance does the Cabo Square Fire Pit need?

The GFRC concrete body is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
