A beautiful matching pair of deeply rich ovalled faceted Amethysts mounted in 15ct yellow Gold (used only in Britain between 1854-1932) and part of a suite of jewellery we have for sale dating to the Edwardian era. The gems are top quality and have attractive natural zoning which adds to their appeal. 

We have replaced the original screw fittings with traditionally styled shop made 18ct yellow Gold hooks and 

Stones: natural Amethysts. 

Metal: 18ct yellow Gold to the wires and 15ct Gold to the bezel of the Amethysts. 15ct Gold was a standard used solely in Britain between the years of 1854-1932. 

Measurements: they measure one inch from the top of the wires. 

In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
