Dating to the 1940's or so and reflecting an Arts & Crafts revival vibe, this vintage Silver and Moss Agate brooch is believed to be by the workshop of the famed jeweller Bernard Instone, a British Arts & Crafts jeweller with a long and diverse career who mostly took his inspiration from the English countryside.
All of Silver, the delightful arrangement contrasts angular and rounded shapes to bring a more modern edge with a trailing flower'd wreath-like arrangement to the frame around the exquisite tablet of natural Moss Agate. A celebration the British nature!
