Very special, a captivatingly beautiful antique Diamond cluster ring in the Georgian style but a revival piece dating to the turn of the past century around 1900 or so. Hand crafted in every aspect, the jeweller has recycled much, much older antique hand cut Diamonds dating back to as early as two centuries previously to create this wonder; such an interesting and unique quality to find! You'll never see another the same!!
Entirely hand crafted in a gentle shade of 18ct yellow Gold with fancy details to the shoulders adding more in the way of naturalesque loveliness and reaching to the setting which has Platinum around the stones to secure them neatly.
The floweresque shape to the whole has a pleasing roundness and symmetry which warms the heart and with a purity and whiteness to the stones which we feel could give them that desirable early Indian mine origin. Romantically glinting which takes you back down the years, the olden plumply hand faceted Diamonds are steep sided in the traditional way so as to reflect the light from their facets even more so.
Stones: natural hand faceted antique cut Diamonds. The centre stone measures at around 0.35ct judged in the setting, whilst the smaller stones measure at around one carat judged conservatively.
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold band with Platinum to the setting, neither marked.
Ring Size: The ring size could be altered to suit, but measures a 'L' or '5.75' as is... however we should say it would not size too small very easily.
Measurements: The cluster measures a dramatic 12mm across.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
