Sentimental jewels such as these were an important facet of Georgian culture and this diminutive antique jewel will have once been someone's treasured ornament.

Stones: hand cut glass 'gems' imitating Garnets around a glass locket. 

Metal: base metal to the pendant on a fine gilded Silver chain measuring 18 inches. There is evidence of her previous life to the reverse as her pin has been removed. 

Measurements: the pendant measures 9mm lengthwise.
