These two large-scale artisan ceramic floor vases have sculptural ovoid forms with narrow, gently flared necks and softly rounded shoulders. Each vase stands 24 inches high and measures 16 inches in diameter, giving it substantial architectural presence for floor display.
Layered cream and brown glazes form horizontal striations with an organic sense of movement. Although clearly related, the two vases differ in pattern density and tonal distribution:
Left vase (Inventory YNE737): Features more pronounced dark brown banding and stronger contrast across the shoulder and midsection.
Right vase (Inventory YNE700): Displays a lighter cream ground with softer, more diffused brown striations and a slightly calmer overall surface.
Their unglazed bases retain kiln and firing marks consistent with studio production. They work well as individual statement pieces or as a complementary pair in contemporary, organic modern, wabi-sabi, or transitional interiors.
