Dating to circa 1900, this antique Chinese suitcase trunk combines tightly woven rattan with a wooden framework and dark patinated iron hardware. Rounded bindings reinforce its streamlined rectangular form, while a central lock plate, carrying handle and two clasps articulate the front.
