Silk, made in Italy, in the Rosebury design: a small white spot set at regular intervals upon a blue ground. The blade measures 8cm and the tie 154cm.

The spot is the most companionable of all tie patterns, which is why a drawer without one is incomplete. It answers at a wedding, at the races and on an ordinary Tuesday, and is small enough to sit behind a patterned waistcoat without quarrel.
