The signature print. In the most unexpected silhouette.
The Dolce Vita print on silk shorts is the most unexpected combination in the Favette catalogue — the brand's most storied signature, in beige and black, translated into the piece that requires the most confidence to wear and rewards it completely.
100% Como mulberry silk twill carries the Dolce Vita print with the same graphic precision it brings to the pajama sets and the mini dress — the diagonal weave giving the motif a depth and warmth that makes the beige and black feel simultaneously classic and entirely contemporary. These shorts work as part of a coordinated set with the Dolce Vita camisole top, or as a standalone piece styled with a simple black or beige silk top that lets the print speak without competition.
The Dolce Vita print was the first signature Favette ever created. On shorts, in Como silk twill, it feels like it was always meant to end up here.
WHY COMO SILK TWILL
Lake Como has been the heart of Italian silk production for over five centuries. Silk twill — woven in a diagonal construction — offers a naturally fluid drape and a softness that becomes more pronounced with wear. In the Dolce Vita beige and black palette, the warmth of the Como weave gives the print a richness and a precision that deepens with every careful wash. It is not simply a material. It is a provenance.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
"The Dolce Vita print on silk shorts was one of the last decisions I made for this collection — and one of the easiest. Once I saw the print on the twill at this scale, there was no other option. Beige and black in Como silk twill on a short silhouette is the most Roman thing we have ever made. It belongs to a Sunday morning in Trastevere as much as to a Wednesday evening anywhere else in the world."
