Blood Red is a deep, rich red from QT Fabrics’ Panorama Premium Solids collection. This extra-wide backing is 100% cotton and 118" wide, so larger quilts can be backed with fewer seams than standard 108" backings.

This bold, saturated red brings warmth to the back of a quilt. It’s a natural fit for Christmas and holiday quilts, patriotic and Americana designs, and red-and-white classics, and it’s a popular choice for school and team quilts. Its deep tone also hides everyday wear well.

The extra width is also handy for cutting long borders and continuous binding, and for festive tablecloths and table runners. Pair Blood Red with quilts in green, cream, navy, or white. Compare it with Panorama Poppy Red if you’d like a brighter, warmer red.
