Celebrate America’s 250th with a Launch of Your Own

The Liberty Star™ “Red, Flight, and Blue” Launch Bundle turns America’s 250th anniversary into a hands-on celebration the whole family can experience together. Instead of simply watching the sky light up, you can assemble your own patriotic rocket, lead the countdown, press the launch button, and watch the Liberty Star climb overhead.

Its bold red, white, and blue design brings unmistakable American spirit to the launch field, while its limited edition status makes every flight part of a once-in-a-generation occasion.

A Complete Bundle for Your First Countdown

This bundle brings together the essential equipment and flight supplies needed to launch the Liberty Star. You will receive one Liberty Star model rocket kit, one Porta-Pad® II Launch Pad with Electron Beam® Launch Controller, one 3/16 inch Two-Piece MAXI™ Launch Rod, one pack of C11-5 engines, and one pack of Estes Recovery Wadding.

Simply add the batteries required for the launch controller and choose a suitable outdoor launch site. Whether you are introducing someone to model rocketry or adding a patriotic launch to your family celebration, this bundle makes it easy to bring the full experience together in one purchase.

Two Powerful Flights Included

The included C11-5 engine pack contains two engines, two starters, and four starter plugs, giving you supplies for two exciting Liberty Star launches. The C11-5 delivers the strong boost this mid-sized rocket needs to rise confidently from the pad, followed by a five-second delay before recovery deployment.

The Liberty Star can reach projected altitudes up to 920 feet with recommended engines, creating the kind of impressive climb that gets everyone watching the sky. From ignition to parachute deployment, each flight delivers a memorable launch-day experience.

Beginner-Friendly from Assembly to Recovery

Designed to assemble in under 10 minutes, the Liberty Star helps first-time flyers move from the box to the launch field without a long or complicated build. Molded plastic fins simplify assembly, while the rocket’s 23.9 inch length gives it a bold presence on the pad before liftoff.

After flight, the Liberty Star returns under a 15 inch parachute recovery system so it can be recovered and prepared for another mission. The included pack of approximately 72 sheets of recovery wadding provides essential heat protection for the parachute and enough material to support many future launches.

A Limited Edition Experience Worth Remembering

Whether this becomes a child’s first model rocket, a new family tradition, or a commemorative addition to an Estes collection, the Red, Flight, and Blue Launch Bundle makes America’s 250th feel personal. It gives families the chance to build, count down, launch, recover, and celebrate together.

The Porta-Pad II Launch Pad, Electron Beam Launch Controller, and MAXI Launch Rod can continue supporting future rocketry adventures long after the included engines have flown. The limited edition Liberty Star remains a lasting reminder of the day you celebrated freedom with a countdown, a cloud of smoke, and a rocket climbing into the blue.
