Lens-inspired external grind adjustment

Changing grind size should be simple — and precise.

The M01's external adjustment dial was developed through extensive prototyping and uses five all-metal components engineered to work together with lens-like precision.

Each click gives you a defined adjustment, making it easy to move between grind settings and return to your favourites without opening the grinder or counting mysterious clicks from zero.

44 mm Pineapple Burrs

At the heart of the M01 you'll find Timemore and Millab's distinctive 44 mm Pineapple Burrs.

The burr geometry creates an extended grinding path designed to increase contact between the coffee beans and burrs while allowing more space between beans during grinding. This helps minimise collisions and irregular breakage for a more controlled and consistent grind.

According to Timemore, the extended cutting path is designed to offer grinding performance comparable with considerably larger 64 mm flat burrs — packed into a beautifully compact manual grinder.

Exceptionally tight tolerances

Good burrs are only part of the equation. Keeping them stable and precisely aligned matters too.

The M01 achieves a 0.0725 mm burr-gap tolerance, making it Timemore's most precise grinder to date.

Custom-engineered P7 bearings provide additional stability, with runout as low as 3 μm.

The result? A grinder engineered to keep everything exactly where it should be while you're grinding.
