The seat angle remains constant while the back angle opens, using a patented recline action pushing the user “uphill.” This motion provides better circulation for the user. The synchronized motion of the back and seat are balanced in perfect harmony.
OM5's patented recline action has the backrest and seat working hand-in-hand so that the backrest is a lever for pushing your body's weight "uphill", removing the need for manual tension adjustment; just pure, effortless comfort. Settle in at your desk and treat your lower back to firm support. Lean fully into the backrest, and as your shoulder makes contact with the backrest, then, like magic, recline and pause exactly where you want.
This chair utterly gets you. It adjusts to your body automatically, responding to your weight and movements, no knobs or dials needed. Less fiddling, more chatting—dive in and get things rolling.
Power moves start with a comfortable back and seat. Lean, swivel, and lead all while staying supported and styled for success.
- The pivot point location extends upwards near the chair’s arms, to mimic the natural pivot point in the human body, the hips.
- Lock the back into an upright position with the tilt lock knob for more focused work situations.
- Need more pressure on the right? A little less on the left? Say no more. With the optional OM5 lumbar adjustment, you can fine-tune and balance support on both sides of your back.
- Need a reset? Swap in a new seat and keep your chair feeling fresh and looking new-good vibes included. Fresh starts are for your chair, too. Spill your latte? Worn from years of conferencing? Remove and replace the seat without the need for tools to give the OM5 another life.
