The CWD Optim is CWD's revolutionised Classic: a wooden-frame tree with a polypropylene seat and composite bars. The tree weighs just 1150g - around half a kilo lighter than a traditional wood-and-metal build - and you feel it in the saddle's responsiveness. Memory foam settles the rider into good pelvic position, and the panels screw directly into the tree to sit cleanly on the horse's back and avoid pressure points.

Choose your seat

• Flat (SE01) - a slender twist and the closest proximity to your horse.
• Semi-deep (SE02) - more support through the seat, helping you engage your pelvis.
• Close-contact (SE03) - the freest through the seat, for maximum freedom of movement.

Benefits

• Close contact for a direct, precise feel of your horse
