Whisper Wish

Whisper Wish is an original 6 × 6 inch ink wash work built through layers of flowing lines, repeated marks, and translucent washes. Within the movement, a face quietly emerges, partially visible and partially absorbed by the surrounding forms.

The restrained, earthy palette allows the mark-making to become the focus, with lines folding into one another like fragments of thought or memory. Created intuitively, Whisper Wish reflects the subconscious imagery at the heart of the Transmission collection—where recognizable forms can surface unexpectedly from abstraction.
